Osman out

He elects to go all-in on a Jack high flop holding pocket 77’s but unfortunate to run into Joe Grech’s AJ

He takes home £3,000 for 12th

Dinh Doat doubles

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

He takes an age to do it but Jerome Bradpiece decides to set Mr. Le all-in on a ATJ flop holding KT with an immediate “call” from Le holding AQ.

Mark Bointon finishes 13th

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Unlucky for Mark as his AK gets cracked by Alan Trueick’s AdQd.  All-in preflop then Alan picks up a flush draw on the turn and then hits a queen on the river.

Mark gets £3,000 for 13th

James Akenhead

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

He’s been making tactical over-the-top picking his spots moves and quietly dominating his table.  This time he raises first with Aaron Barry coming in for an extra 75k.  James elects to call with his QT off-suit.  Not a bad call in the end as it’s 3-2 shot.  Aaron has A5.  The Ace counts as KK’s and 44’s come on the board and a tasty double up for him.  James still with 200k plus.  The average chips is currently 230k ish.

Farhad Kia finishes 14th

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

He’s been firing blanks for some time and decides to make a move.  He’s only seen one card and pushes UTG for 62k.  He gets looked up by Sunny who’s holding 77’s.  Farhad turns over AT.  A huge cheer…well, not huge, but vocal..from the railbird Hitsquad supporters as another 7 arrives on the turn and Farhad dead in the water.

He takes home £2,250 and the money goes up
