Tony Phillips doubles up through Ketul Nathwani.  Ketul has raised his BB too many times so Tony takes a stand and moves allin with K4. Ketul calls, though with pocket 99’s.
The first card out on the flop is a King and a huge roar goes up around the room.  Likable chap this Anthony Phillips.

Tournament Update - End of Level 21

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

Entries: 424
No of players left: 9
Average stack: 424,000
Chip Leaders: Ketul Nathwani (1 million)
Blinds for Level 21: 10k 20k ante 1k

Players have just broken for nice sitdown dinner in the Vic restaurant.  The break will last approx an hour.

Ketul Nathwani is dominating the table and looks to have around a million in chips - TBC shortly.  His over the top raises are being met with respect from all quarters.
Tony Phillips makes it 55k to go and Ketul asks “how much more?”  “Around 350k”. Ketul bets allin on the flop of 9hJs7s.  Ketul lifts his collar up to his chin and assumes the pose… and takes it down.  “Flush draw?” asks Tony a few mins later.

Fran Egan is a player.  He picks on Maria to raise-bluff her flop bet with the two of them left in the blinds.  He’s building his stack nicely.

David Rudling very quiet this level, esp. since Ketul has position on him (his immediate left) and taken him off hands.  David down to 250k it looks like (TBC)

Tony Phillips gets some back from Fran and Fran takes some from Jelinek.  Steve not getting any joy with his preflop raises as yet.

Colin Kennedy focused and in his own world, unspeaking and unflappable, but dwindling fast.

Chip counts to follow.

Tournament Update - Level 21

No flops seen for 25 minutes then Fran Egan raises to 65k from the cut-off and is called by Tony Phillips in the small blind.

Tony announces allin on a flop of 8dQsKh and Fran thinks before calling with AQ.  Tony has pocket 66’s.  The turn and river come 8c3d and Fran Egan doubles up with the final bet of 84k.
