.. The top 18 players in each leg of the GUKPT and the Grand Final (main events only) will be awarded ranking points.  At the end of the tour, the player with the most points will be declared the GUKPT Player of the Year and will win a £5,000 cash prize.  There are additional prizes for the top nine players on the leader board.

3rd - £1,000 cash
4th to 9th - Entry to a six seat single table satellite.  The top two players in this single table satellite win £1,000 entries to Grosvenor Tournaments in 2008.

Whilst the tour takes a month off in June, please note that we are now running online satellites every Thursday at 9:15PM for the GUKPT Grand Final - exclusively at Blue Square Poker.  The Grand Final is to be held at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino (29th Nov. to 2nd Dec) in London, witha  buy-in of £3,150 (winners of each leg of the tour get free entry).

After a preflop limp, we see a flop of 5d 4d 10d

Dave raises Neil’s initial bet to 160k. Neil moves all-in. Mr Smith requests a count and CALLS !!

Neil has 6d 2d for the flopped flush .. Dave has 10h 9d.

After asking the dealer to bring a diamond, the dealer obliges, with an Ad turn leaving Neil one out on the turn for a straight flush. It doesnt come and we have a WINNER.

What a result for the big man, but a cracking effort from Neil who must feel gutted after losing to what turns out was a flush draw.

For the tweed dressed Chesterfield resident, aggressive play is definitely proving effective.
